Surgery 4 all has developed from the continuous general & Specialist surgical practice of Mr Mazin E Sayegh, who qualified from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1995. He gained his General Surgical experience at various hospitals in the UK particularly in Nottingham & Sheffield. There he culminated his General Surgical experience in diseases of the Gastrointestinal Tract and Laparoscopic Surgery.
Since the introduction of laparoscopic surgery, Mr. Sayegh has focused his practice on procedures conducted using these minimally invasive techniques. The advantages of laparoscopic or keyhole surgical procedures are many when compared to conventional procedures. These include less pain, shorter hospital stay and convalescence, less scarring and often better access to difficult areas of the abdominal cavity. With the advancement of technology, the range of surgery carried out by these techniques is bound to increase.
He was awarded a scholarship by the Japanese foundation for cancer research to the National Cancer Centre Hospital in Tokyo-Japan, where he worked with colleagues on diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. He is a member of the court of examiners of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a member of various national & international associations and societies. He has published in various peer reviewed journals and gave presentations and talks at local, national and international meetings.
His hobbies include painting (oil and watercolour) cycling and listening to music. He is married with 2 children.
